Our Mission
The mission of Hammer Memorial United Methodist Church is very simple in its wording but very large in its possibilities!
With God’s help we will work to:
Evangelize our community
Disciple our church family
And care for the needs of others.
Our Beliefs
We believe in the saving grace of Jesus Christ our Savior, and that through Him we are forgiven and have the promise of eternal life. We believe the church is to be the presence of Jesus Christ in the world and that we are to follow His Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you-and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20, NIV)

United Methodists hold to the historic doctrines of the Christian faith. Methodists believe in a deep personal faith, lived out in words and deeds that make for a more passionate Christ-centered life. We welcome anyone to the church, and are eager to share our Christian faith with you.
